A recent conversation with a friend reminded me just how important marketing can be. As business owners we often approach things from the standpoint of trying to create things for our market. This is the wrong approach to take.

Instead of creating we need to find out what our customers want and provide that for them. In talking with my friend we both agreed that services like facebook and Twitter are pretty stupid.

Here is the thing though. It does not matter what he and I think, or even what you think. If our customers and clients demand something, we need to be there to deliver it.
