Work-at-home scam detection


Unfortunately it’s safe to say that the majority of work-at-home opportunities are scams. With the current state of the economy it appears that more and more scams are popping up to take your money. The bottom line is this: Research any employer, offline or online, before sharing your information and accepting a “job opportunity.”

The flip side to this is due to the massive amount of online work scams a lot of legitimate businesses get wrongfully labeled as a scam. The word “scam” is tossed around on the internet with little regard. I would venture to say that the majority of legit online business opportunities have been labeled a scam at one time or another. Simply because an employee had a minor problem with receiving product on time or a clerical error delayed processing of their application doesn’t mean the business is a scam…
